Changes to Big Day Out!

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

It’s no surprise Big Day Out is coming back next year, but did you know they are changing the venue? To make Big Day Out better than ever before, they have picked a bigger venue that will not only give you party animals more space to rock out, they will also be changing the whole design.

This year, there will be one main stage, a massive skating ramp, Green Stage, Boiler Room, Show ‘N’ Shine and much more. Oh wait; did I mention there is going to be a Giant Water Slide? Yep, thanks to Motorola, there will also be the largest inflatable waterslide known to man at the event.

Big Day Out has always been a huge supporter of local acts and continues to support homegrown musicians, DJ’s and artistes in every city, making each Big Day Out a unique experience. From local acts, Drapht and Shockone to international stunners, Noel Gallagher and Cavalera Conspiracy, not only will you be slipping and sliding on the massive waterslide, you would be rocking out as well.

Unfortunately, Kanye West, Hilltop Hoods and Mariachi El Bronx will not be performing – a big disappointment for some but oh well, the show must go on!

Big Day out will be held at the Brownes Stadium in Lathlain on Sunday, February 5, 2012. For tickets, click here.
