US based producer Parisian’s latest EP Daul Kim is an emotional ride filled with crackling beats, lush synth textures and bent electronics in the Post-Dubstep/Wonky style.
Out on the Push & Run label, the EP is named after South Korean model & blogger Kim Daul, who took her own life in 2009 at the age of 20, and is an EP to honour her life. Considering the sensitive title, he’s done well to convey sincerity and thought in this often haunting release.
It’s a stunning release from this newcomer and a worthy addition to your collection.
