Indie has a new guiding light in the form of Young Revelry. The young four piece band are set to release their stellar seven track EP, You And I, on Friday, August 13, with a show at The Bird on the same night, plus on Saturday, August 14. Joining them on the Friday will be The Scotch Of Saint James and Blackmilk, and on the Saturday it’s The Emperors, Mercy Mercy and The Success Of Satan. Tickets are $18.40 from oztix.com.au. Doors open at 8pm.
Earl Cole will be performing at ‘The Publican’ (774 Albany Hwy, East Vic Park) for three dates only in July – Friday 9th, Friday 16th & Friday 23rd (7.30 pm to 10.15 pm). So why not pop in for a a drink and perhaps a bite to eat and watch Perth’s finest crooner in action. There is no cover charge. Earl’s residency at The Publican is a rare opportunity to see Earl perform in public outside of his dinner shows. Earl’s next dinner show for 2010 will be a Rat Pack Tribute at Mosman’s Restaurant on Thursday 16th September. Information about this show will be sent out in early/mid August.
