Australian country and western singer/songwriter Connie Kis Andersen has just released her new single titled Steamy Dreams. Earlier this year Connie was awarded the Best Country Music Female Artist for Western Australia 2010 and only two weeks ago was awarded the Female Vocalist of the Year at the Wagga Wagga Tamworth on Parade – Australian Country Awards.
With a massive season thus far, Live At Quarry has announced an encore season of their popular concert series. After a memorable performance at The Astor Theatre at the start of the year, Cat Power will play the beautiful outdoor setting on Monday, January 24, 2011, which is rather peculiar given that her stage name is a reference to the machines that dig out quarries. With her band The Dirty Delta Blues in tow, tickets will sell fast and go on sale from Ticketmaster this Monday, December 13.
